Our school is located directly opposite the Logan City Council offices and the Logan Entertainment Centre. These are both significant landmarks within Logan City.
The school is also located between Woodridge State Primary School and Woodridge State Secondary School. Together we make a corridor of educational excellence in the local community. Our school is easily accessed via train (adjacent to Woodridge Station) and also by bus.
The school opened on the 1st January, 1992 and was called the Woodridge Opportunity School. It's name later changed to Woodridge Special School and in 1997 was renamed as Logan City Special School in order to recognise that the students came from the whole of Logan City, not only the Woodridge area.
